At GESS, students are encouraged to learn not only in classrooms or from curriculum. They have access to a wide selection of physical activities, in the form of after-class programmes as well as holiday camps. GESS works with our network of dedicated and passionate partners, who enrich our selection with their curated offerings. Ahead of the summer break activities, we throwback to some easter break’s camps.
Proform Basketball Academy
Proform Basketball Academy has been running basketball camps at GESS since 2018. With basketball being one of the most popular sports here, the April camp hosted close to 50 participants. These holiday camps are designed to offer a fun, structured learning environment catering to boys and girls of all skill levels, focusing on key fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, defence, and game play, while also incorporating fitness and conditioning in the drills. Their next camp will be held from 23-27 June, and the team is geared up to welcome everyone back on the court.
AZE Badminton Academy
Small and mighty! The third edition was conducted in April 2025, with a small group of four participants that allowed more one-on-one attention and training. The Easter Break Holiday Camp was all about big energy, big improvements — and our little champs were just getting warmed up to badminton! From footwork to fun, our beginners took their first swing at greatness, and we’re so proud of every step they took on court. The next GESS holiday camp is slated for 23-27 June.
Eco Warriors
The April holiday edition saw our young Eco Warriors embarked on an exciting journey filled with action, creativity, and learning! From energetic multi-sports sessions to hands-on eco-crafts like windmills, greenhouses, and kites that taught energy-saving concepts. The camp was buzzing with purpose and fun. The week-long programme wrapped up with an inspiring visit to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina Barrage, topped off with a splashing good time at the waterplay area! Their next camp runs from 7 July to 8 August.
Lion City Sailors Football School
Lion City Sailors has been partnering with GESS since 2024, delivering football training and helping to develop the talents of our budding footballers. The April edition marked their third camp at GESS, with 28 participants enjoying the programme. Look out for a BVB x LCS Camp in June 2025!
